The Lead Brick Middle Corner continues the 90° junction through the main shielding height of your wall assembly. Stacking above the Base Corner, this brick provides primary radiation attenuation while maintaining the perpendicular wall geometry.
Full shielding at intersections
Corner junctions demand careful design—radiation can stream through gaps where walls meet at angles. The Middle Corner creates overlapping lead paths in both horizontal directions, delivering the same 50mm protection at corners as Standard bricks provide along straight runs.
the Middle Corner matches Middle Standard mass while accommodating the directional change. Stack multiple Middle Corner bricks for taller corner sections before capping with Top Corner.
Structural integrity at direction changes
The interlocking profiles engage with Middle Standard bricks approaching from both perpendicular directions. This mechanical connection stabilizes the corner against lateral forces while eliminating radiation streaming paths through the junction.
