Product description
The Lead Brick Middle End terminates the main shielding wall at openings and edges. Stacking above Base End bricks, this piece continues the finished end face through the primary shielding height while maintaining interlocking connection to Middle Standard bricks along the wall run.
Shielding mass at terminations
the Middle End provides substantial radiation attenuation right to the wall edge. The flat vertical end face defines doorway jambs, viewing port frames, and opening boundaries with full 50mm lead thickness. No shielding compromise where personnel pass closest to the barrier.
End bricks see use at every wall termination—doorways, equipment pass-throughs, partial barriers, and freestanding wall edges. The Middle End handles the main shielding duty at these critical locations.
Interior interlocking, exterior finished
The interior face maintains the chevron profile for secure connection to Middle Standard bricks along the wall. The exterior end face presents a smooth, finished surface appropriate for visible locations at room openings.
