The VS216MG-R Tungsten Vial Shield with Magnetic Lid is engineered for safe, efficient, and visible handling of 15R vials in nuclear medicine, radiopharmaceutical labs, and isotope handling facilities. With internal dimensions of ø27×61 mm, it offers a precise fit for standard eluate vials, combining advanced shielding with operational ease.
The shield is constructed from 6 mm thick tungsten, offering gamma attenuation. A 10 mm lead glass viewing window is built into the front, allowing safe inspection of vial contents and labels without removing the shield.
The magnetic lid enables fast access and automatically secures itself in the closed position, reducing handling time and exposure. The red anodized aluminum housing provides durable surface protection and supports quick identification in color-coded workflows.
