The Lead Brick Base End terminates the foundation course where walls stop at openings, doorways, or freestanding edges. The end geometry provides a finished vertical face while maintaining interlocking connection with adjacent Base Standard bricks.

Finished edges at openings

Use Base End bricks wherever your shielding wall terminates without meeting another wall or corner. Typical locations include doorway jambs, pass-through openings, viewing port edges, and the ends of partial barriers. The solid end face presents a clean appearance without exposed interlocking profiles.

the Base End is the lightest brick in the system—appropriate for its role at edges where full wall mass isn’t required. It establishes the termination geometry that continues through Middle End and Top End above.

Full shielding to the edge

The end position often coincides with access points where personnel approach closest to the wall. Base End geometry ensures complete 50mm shielding right to the edge. No reduction in protection at doorway edges or opening frames.
