Slanthole Collimators

Slanthole collimators are similar to parallel hole collimators, but have slanted holes to provide an oblique image. This design can be used to create an oblique view of organs that may be blocked by other parts of the body. This oblique view results in a better visualization. Slanthole collimators can be placed close to the body, which results in a maximized resolution.
