Nuclear waste storage

Nuclear Shields designed and manufactures a special shielded nuclear waste container. The low and medium level waste container has three leak-layers to prevent any kind of leakage. The nuclear waste container can be stacked three-high with a heavy forklift, picked up with a forklift on all 4 sides and with a crane by the four corner points. The top of the shielded nuclear waste container is sealed with radiation-resistant rubber and can be secured by 6 bolts on all four sides.

The shielded nuclear waste container can be used to directly store low- and medium level radioactive waste, or serve as an overpack for old radioactive waste drums, which automatically provides a fourth leak prevention layer for the nuclear waste container.
