Tungsten Vial Shields

Tungsten vial shields are available in many lead equivalencies and for many different isotopes, to ensure the perfect fit for the intended use. Our vial shields are designed for optimized radiation protection and ease-of-operation. Our current range of vial shields include tungsten vial shields for Technetium-99m with a tungsten shielding thickness of 4 mm to provide maximum attenuation of Tc-99m radioisotopes. The top lid - which serves as final radiation shielding barrier and vial septum protector - can be attached and detached with four magnets to improve efficiency.
